i wish i were there to take you out for a nice meal of guinea fowl, for which i would happily pay 30 guineas, and throw in a glass of wine in a sippy cup!
Yay!!!! thats awesome. I see you already started to do research on guinea. You must be real excited Cant wait to get to that phase! I should be there soon though because i sent all my medical stuff in this morning by Overnight Fedex. So the suspense deepeens as to where i will be assigned to.
Hey how did you get an invitation before being medically and legally clear? And do they contact you on weekends too?
I'll let you know as soon as i get an update. (hopeful this means tommorow)
These pages include the musings of a young, happy professional in the field of international development finance. Living in DC and travelling the globe has given me a lot to say. You can enjoy my philosophical (or sometimes shallow) thoughts on our current world, or dive into the archive. There, you can venture back into my days in grad school at the University of Denver and roam around my memories of my time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea. Either one you choose, there is one rule: Don't take this world too seriously. That ruins the fun.
